It’s the end of year blues
With the beat hitting harder
The drum beating faster
And the world still spinning
People are rushing
The clock is ticking
And soon we’re free to go
We’re dancing in the spotlight
To a whole new beat
A song unwritten with words unsung
It’s a frenzy, it’s a race
It’s a downright disgrace
No appreciation just rushing along
