A Day in the Life of Racism
They look right down on you with eyes of hate
Talking about you until can’t even stand straight
White, brown, yellow and black color is not restricted
As if it’s a drug to which they’re addicted
People like me just have to deal with it
As they tear at you bit by bit
Eating at your life, like it has no meaning
Nobody helps you; it’s your job to do the cleaning
These words hurt more than a knife
But you just deal with it kid this is life
Racism, with it nobody can win
So let’s stop this before I begin
