Summertime and the Livin’s Easy


Ahh…. One more week!
No more 6 am alarms screaming at me to get up BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
From now on, the 12 pm wake up calls from my mother
No more 3x-x^2= 60 in math class, no more rigorous studying for grammar tests, and no more last minute touch ups on my Pennsylvania project in history.
From now on, you can find me swimming at Chapel Gate swim club all day.
No more pasty, ghost white skin
From now on I’ll have that farmers tan I get from hours of baseball in the sun.
No more dying of boredom from doing self-made notes in Mr. Norberg’s history class
From now on, I’ll be at one of my good friend’s house sitting by the bonfire.
No more waiting for that spicy chicken in line
From now on, I’ll make myself pancakes for lunch, eating whenever I want
Every day is a weekend, how could you not like summer? It’s stress free!
It’s so close, yet so far!
I can’t wait to be able to sing the chorus of that Sublime song with pride
