When I first saw her
She took me to heaven.
In a split second
She could have me beggin'.
But a girl like her
Wouldn't give a chance
To a guy like me,
I fail in advance.
Her, so beautiful,
With long, brown hair.
Me, so boring,
I cannot compare.
Beautiful eyes,
Stunning smile,
Girl, for you
I'd run a million miles.
The way you walk,
The way you talk,
Makes me so nervous
I can't do either.
Oh, to see you
I get so eager!
If a mirror could talk,
It would say too,
'The fairest in the land?
Why yes, that's you! '
I've said all for now,
Though i could go on and on.
To sum you up in one word,
I simply say, 'Wow'

I wrote this poem one night because I couldn't sleep. She was the reason. I dedicate this poem to Lindsey H.
