When my pen approaches the page
I freeze
My brain shuts down
I’m suddenly distracted
By nothing
Staring into the distance
Listening to effortless words
Swirl around me
While the ink refuses
To mark the page
In any way
As if it and I
Live in separate
Worlds

I love this one!  I'm a writer and I can relate with it.  Love the imagery and feeling of it.
