My cat and my dog, they always fight
and each one tries, with all of their might
they’ll sit or sleep, and rest half a day
but when we give out treats, one will want their way
They claw and bite, until one sees fright
then walks away, until another day
My cat will rest on a chair
his eyes will close
but he will jump
when the dog bites his nose
Then they’ll chase each other
around and around
until they both hear
that crunching sound
It’s me with the treats
and they see the light
until I drop a treat down
then again they both fight.
