and you question the purpose

I look out the foggy windows
confused when will it all end
the confusion, the sadness
when will I start living my life
of purpose and fulfillment, smiling
because I'm happy and not to cover the pain
But like the first ray of sunlight through the dark clouds
life will get better and when you hear the birds coming back you will know it will because like rain on a sunny day the sunshine will always come back beaming rays of hope and the promise of a life filled with love and happiness.
