the shop

Two years ago was when my interest in photography began, I started off in the darkroom and moved my way to digital photography and was recently introduced to graphic arts. My latest photos are manipulated in a way that cobbles together the idea of concrete reality and abstract design. This photo was taken at a thrift shop in downtown Chicago. Not many changes were made to create this image. I touched up some spots and used a gradient map to make a dual colored image. Lastly I made the image black and white to give it a vintage effect.
