My Truck

I feel the horses in my body
I grab the handle bars and it makes me shiver
I stomp on the clutch and turn the key
and bam there she starts
I am in a place where only I can be
I ride tell the light goes dim
I get back with mud covered tires
I lose a part of myself when I turn the key off
I spend more time every day wondering
When will that day come for me to be lost again?
