Left Abandoned
She lies buried in the bottom
The bottom of now where
Forgotten
Abandoned
She is now but a memory,
You could even say not even that
The outside world no longer wants her
She’s left for the mice to play with
For the dust to rest on
She has just one blue button eye
Her once rosy cheeks have faded with time
Her golden curls, are gone
Her dress is nothing but rags.
She dreams of the past and nothing more
Of the times she was loved.
She wonders if she will ever by loved like that again.
Her heart remains the same.
