The lives we say we live,
are thin and undecided.
Steady breath hangs in limbo,
Prepared to falter should we let it.
Bright excited blood flows
Becoming lethargic as it slows,
And sleepy eyes surrender.

i wrote this when one of my friends almost killed himself. it really put life into perspective.
