Silence makes the heart grow fonder,
Creating thoughts that need no launder.
Pure is the warm touch of the man
That in the stillness always lands
Between her fingers, yet gripping the heart.
The quiet leaves the thoughts to part,
But steady is the mind that feels
His caress, so soft, but yet so real.

This piece stemmed from an assignment to use a clash of cliches as the beginning line. This poem is about two people basically spooning in silence. They are just enjoying the moment and each other.
