I Dream in Color
I dream of the days
When I’ll wake up and see the last of the sunrise
That peeks out above the mountain
The days spent bettering the lives of others
I dream of the nights spent out in the humidity
 Circled around Pastor Tom’s guitar
With the backdrop of a mountain on fire
 Singing.
 Lord prepare me.
 To be a sanctuary.
I dream of the days spent in blue
The days where the music swirls colors into the air surrounding
I dream of the nights that are never meant to end
I dream of the moments where it’s all surreal
And everything feels like a fairytale
I dream of the day I’m dressed in grey
Walking across that stage to the rest of my life
 I dream of the future
Where I’m wearing green and white or maize and blue
I dream of the day where I’ll stand up in white.
Taking another step in my life.
I dream of the day where I’m old and grey
Hoping that my memories never fade to black.
