Raindrops
I Sat There On The Sidewalk.
Damien Behind Me, Folding Me In His Arms.
Jason In Front, Grey Eyes Piercing Through My Tough Front.
I Want To Be A Raindrop.
Similar Precipitation Slides Down My Cheeks.
A Raindrop Starts At The Highest Point. Then, It Is Pulled Down.
I Started Up High, But Now I'm On The Ground.
We Are One. Raindrops And I.
But We Are Different. Me And Raindrops.
You See, Raindrops May Be Pulled Down, As Was I.
But Raindrops Go Back Up.
They Hit The Ground But After A While They Go Back High Into The Heavens.
That s Where We Are Different.
I Am At My Lowest Point.
The Scars On My Arms Are Proof Of That.
I Cannot Get Back Up.
I Have Tried And Failed. Tried And Failed.
But I Am Stuck.
I Want To Be A Raindrop.
Raindrops Get Second Chances.
