The gloomy white water
Jumped over the polished rocks, pebbles and boulders
The silent clashing echo
Filled the air with peaceful white noise
The dry little drops of flying water
Tasted like sugar on my tongue
The butterflies and adrenaline mixed together
And created a fear of the intense river
But the immense waterfalls, drops and rapids
Bring me back to understanding
As the water cascades it splits into
Smaller clumps until it’s a mist
The immense rapids give away and
Seem to disappear, vanish and fade away
As the line I want just appears to me
Like a hidden gateway in the river
A warm shiver appeared and
I started to go down the slippery ramp
My tense relaxed muscles
Got ready to paddle
As I plunged into
The gloomy white water
