The Monster Awakens

I awake.
Hunger claws at me.
My innocence.
I want it back.
But that’s not the only thing I want.
I want revenge.
Revenge on everyone who has taunted me.
Stabbed me with their insults.
Damaged my mental health.
As they stabbed verbal spears into my heart
Soon they will all see.
The monster that I can be.
