The Storm

The storm may toss and turn, like a loud restless sleeper
But your fires burn brighter
And are rooted much deeper.
Stand strong, stand tall
As the hard waves break
If you think you are small, then the oceans will take.
But no matter what,
Through the thunder and the lightning,
Remember these words
They will keep you brightening.
Let the storm take you,
Let the storm make you;
But whatever you do,
Don’t let the storm break you.
