My Own Perspective
When others look at me
They see the positive
And nothing else
But when I stare into the mirror
What is reflected back
Is the negative
Unlike everyone else
My hairs never right
My smile isn’t bright
My eyes are ugly
But no one else can see
I wish my mentality
Eventually could change
And someday finally
Feel pretty
Then I’ll be able to
Love myself
Like nobody else
