Unspoken Questions
When I’m sitting here can you see me screaming, crying out for you to end this dreaming? I want you to know not everything’s perfect, because all actions seem designed to hurt me. What happened to you? You changed so fast, contradicting every memory of our enchanted past. We believed in each other but nothing’s the same, it all seems like one big game. Are you trying to take all you can take? Or are you learning from the mistakes that we make? I don’t understand what you want from me, or what you’re expecting for us to be. If you can’t decide I’ll do it for you, because I’m exhausted trying to figure out if you’re true. You were my best friend and I don’t want to lose you, but sometimes I wonder if I ever really knew you.
