Simple
Lying to myself
Lying to my peers
Laying on the ground
In tears.

They think I’m happy
But in truth I’m sad
sometimes we hurt ourselves
And wonder if it’s bad.

I have all these friends
Who truly do care,
But my heart is breaking
In a way I can’t bare.

These tears are falling
For the me I used to be
I wish things were simple
Then I’d be…
Okay.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem mainly because i needed a poem to submit for a class contest thing,i didn't know that i was writing something so true about myself that would mean so much to me. writing is my passion and i hope people can see just how much my poetry means to me.

I like this poem of yours the best. (At least of the ones you have posted of course) I am a big fan of rhyme and rhythm, and your others don't have as much of it. This poem just seems...more poetic? More true to the author, and less forced? I liked it. Keep writing.
