The trembling of my knees
The cold sweat running down my face
My eyes locked in a daze
Staring and being stared at by those things that chill the soul
My mind says run, but my legs will not respond
As if the earth has laid clamps to my feet
Mocking my futile attempts to escape
I feel them coming
I hear their voices
My heart has already begun to slow to a beat near undetectable
Not knowing of who
Unaware of what
The anticipation
This is fear

Had just watched the Hunger Games... again. I thought this is what the characters might feel like.
