Waking to the sound of a faint beep
A will strikes and you get to your feet.
You go about your mundane life
But you see the world differently
A change goes over you, it’s irreversible
And the only physical difference is the way your eyes shine.
The sun cannot compare, and it will leave in shame
But then the words fail you
And there is nothing left to do.
