Morning breaks
Sending sunshine throw the blinds
Its gentle touch warms my skin
Groggy and angry
I reach for my dreams as they fade from memory
Wishing they would linger
Depressed by there departure
Sleep in my eyes
Drool on my lips
Stumbling to the bathroom for my morning piss
Unmotivated and unwilling to progress
Sitting in the shower searching for rest
The water rains down
As it hits my skin
I realize that it's cold as winter
Making me
Cringe
