The moon is full,
the stars are bright,
the world looks beautiful tonight.

Whether you're near or whether you're far,
you still look up at the same sky,
whether you walk, run, swim, or fly.

A wisp of smoke,
a cloud of dust,
life keeps going because it must.

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem back in 7th grade, and although it is one of my earliest poems, I still think that it is one of my best poems, and it is definitely one of my favorites.
