Do You Do The Same?

With just a simple conversation you sent my mind spinning

You sent it to a place where there is no returning

Now my mind is constantly zoning

I ask myself what is the meaning of this

Is there a purpose for this friendship

With your beauty that is so pure it's almost a sin to deny

Are you an angel because you look so heavenly

Are you a trap because you have grasped me mentally

Have you not grown tired from running around my mind all day

Do you think like me

Does your mind wonder like mine

Do you sometimes wonder about me just to past the time

Do you contemplate if all of this could possible go anywhere

Or if there is any place that we could go from here

No this is not love but simply a new feeling

Like a leaf poking through the ground that came from a seedling

I pray that I am not being too forward and lame

And even though I know this is simply in vain

I still find myself wondering do you do the same?
