Why is it
that my thoughts
always seem to find a way
back to you
They seem to seep
through my brain.
Through things
that I need
to focus on
but that I just can't
My thoughts
think about how
you look at me
...brown eyed,
chocolate skinned,
wide smiling,
big lipped,
button nosed,
my football star,
the fastest boy in our grade,(real elemnatrary),
future USC scholar....
There i go again...
my thoughts
were slipping away...
constantly finding
their way back to you....

I think I'm coming to the realization that
if my thoughts
keep on going back to you
maybe they want to be there...
just like I put them
