The Feeling
The moment is yours
You lie in wait, like a lone wolf hunting in a pack
The moment will come
It will beckon to you
You just have to wait for it, like an eagle circling a lake
You’ll know when it comes
You can sense it
You can feel it
You can taste it
The moment is yours
The light will go off
Time will almost seem to stop
The ball is in the air, and it taunts you with its hexagonal shapes spinning and dancing
You track its arc
You see the equation appear right in front of you
You know where you are, and you know where it is
The moment is yours
Thoughts stop
Emotions stop
You don’t stop
You can’t stop
You lose if you stop,
don’t lose
The ball dips
No thought, just reaction
No time, just reflex
No emotion, just power
The moment is yours
