"hold on if you feel like letting go"

Gasping for air.
The water rushing into her lungs.
Enveloping her being.
Twisting, turning to get to the surface.
Her foot in caught between two rocks.
She sees someone swimming in the distance.
A man.
Trying to get his attention.
She can't and he swims right by her.
By that time she gone anyway.
Her last thought being that if she wasn't so shy she wouldn't have to so invisible and the man would've seen her and saved her.

The next day police find her body.
Pulling it up along the hot grains of sand.
When they turn her over they are speechless to find the girl...

Faceless

I was inspired to right this about a year ago because in my school I am very shy and always feel invisible and at one point i actually wondered if anyone would notice if i was gone...
