You stare down and I wonder. Do
you see the true me. Will you see past
the deep gloom. The fake gloom that will
try to fill you. But you have the power to
resist,you won't be obliged to follow.
Resist the power that can contaminate
your heart and many others. There won't be a
compromise because you can resist.
In the beggining it can be sweet and fun
just like cotton candy. Then
you begin to see past the fake gloom.
It's like turning over a chess board and all you
see is black. A deep concerning black.
I know that you have the power to resist.
