A Rose or a Bud?
Young beautiful rose. How your beauty shines over all
A lily in a patch of thorns. A lonely fruit tree in the forest
Many will come and admire the rose, others will mock you
They cannot see your beauty for they are blinded by you
As the admires will come and go, the rose has yet to fully bloom
You, the rarest rose of all, you’ll find the one that will stay
The one that will gape at your beauty day and night
Will do nothing to hurt you. Will help you grow and learn.
For the master gardener has a plan and partner for you
Wait young beautiful rose. You must wait to fully bloom
For now you’re just a pretty bud starting to open
Regardless whether you’re a bloom or a bud
Oh how your beauty shines over all
