Birds

There’s a bird on planet Earth in the northwestern hemisphere in the United States in California in the Redwood forest. Out there in the Redwood forest trees grow so tall that they touch the sky with their little green leaves.

This bird is a young falcon on the highest tree, and it’s about to fly for the first time. He jumps quickly plummeting from the sky so fast that not even a bullet can match its speed. Quickly, right before he hits the ground, he scoops upward soaring higher than the highest tree. This bird was amazed by what he was seeing. He had seen the greenest grass which was good luck to a new air bound flyer. Luckily, he didn’t see the yellow grass which is bad luck for a new air bound flyer.
The smell of the air was fresh. The breeze made him feel like he was on top of the world. So at last after many hours of flying about in the sky it was about time to go to sleep. The last thing he thought to himself was, “I’ll do the same thing tomorrow.”
