Fading Love
My love for you is fading
My all consuming passion evading
You wonder why my feelings change
Why my thoughts come to rearrange
You're not the one I once knew,
Though, I swear, I won't forget you
You're the reason for my fears
And my never ending tears
The reason I try counting sheep
To end my thoughts,my lack of sleep
Where are you, my love?
You were as my glove
Protecting me from the cold
The bitter frost, the nights of old
So now,I'm sorry love, I must leave you
And start again, being brand new
Darling, you I don't hate
But us together just isn't fate
So now, I must break our bond,
And, I, must again be a fish in pond.
