why not ?
Why not go out on a date with me
Talk laugh and maybe drink coffee
We’ll share our interesting stories from the past
And we’ll say our embarrassing ones really fast
Ill enjoy your laugh and your smile
Listen to your stories and ignore the food for a while
Yea sure ill be hungry but it doesn’t really matter
Ill eat tomorrow and the world will still be on a silver platter
Ill tell my embarrassing stories while being shy
And you’ll laugh and ask questions like how and why
We’ll leave the diner and take a walk
Ill produce a rose while we continue to talk
Take you to a secret spot and watch the river flow
Look into your eyes and talk while the wind blows
We’ll hit it off great and have a great time
Maybe just maybe ill share some cool rhymes
You’ll fascinate me with your charming personality
And ill try not to dream and stay in reality
There will be butterflies swarming all around
As we look at the sky and lay on the ground
Look at the clouds and that intriguing blue sky
Hoping ill have this moment until the day I die
Get up and treat ourselves to a little ice cream
Continue to talk while I fall in love as it would seem
Go see a movie have fun and enjoy it together
Come out laughing and crying with another
Take one more stroll before the endless night
Just one last time to see your lovely sight
I’ll drive you right back to your house
We’ll scurry up the sidewalk like little mouse
Our lips will touch to kiss into the sky
As I give you my number for now it’s goodbye
