The booming clap of Thunder,
The blinding flash of Lightning,
The fights of these two brothers,
Can be very frightening.

To those who hear it every May,
Those who complain will eventually pay,
The shame of these two brothers,
Happens every day.

To those who see it in the night,
Even those who are in flight,
The fear of these two brothers,
Can cause quite a fright.

Lightning lighting up the sky,
Thunder filling up the air,
The guilt of these two brothers,
Has gone speeding by.

To those who wonder why,
These fights will never die,
The tears of these two brothers,
Will always, always fly.

To those who have seen it,
Know it's a rare sight to see,
The love of these two brothers,
Has happened before me.

To those who have died because of the two,
Even though they aren't so kind,
The help of these two brothers,
Can sometimes clear your mind.

I love how you refer to thunder and lightning as quarreling brothers, what a lovely new perspective, like a legend or fairy/folk tale :)
