Deep an Deeper

Darkness breaks out
And all I see
Are those black eyes
Stinging through the depth
Her final breath escapes her lips
Her pale body seemingly floating
Instead she’s sinking
Deeper and deeper
Into black depths
But merely a shadow
To her eyes
Deep so deep are those eyes
Deeper and deeper I fall
And my eyes catch the knife
Pushing deeper and deeper
Into me
