Grandfather
tired eyes
worn out spirit
tearstained cheeks
facing nowhere
perhaps everywhere
statue still in this chaos
staring listlessly
as thoughts whirl, dance, spin
around my head
though i'm not thinking at all
Dear Grandfather
you're gone
left this world for the next
Tears flow again
-but it's okay-
they purge my soul,
cleanse my heart
I mourn now so
I can heal the wounds you left me
later.
In this Poem to you
i want you to know
i love you and
Always will.
