The teen years start at age thirteen
And continue till the time you turn nineteen
In that time frame, a lot goes on
From learning how to take care of yourself to mowing the lawn
But the older you get, you discover what really happens
High school, relationships to getting your license
Driving around is fun until you have to go to college
Or maybe you have a job because you have enough knowledge
Whatever the case you’re not a kid anymore
You learn to mature from your parents, after all that’s what they’re there for
