Happiness
In a world where
everything can be bought,
true happiness
is hard to come by.
Artificial happiness,
that's easy.
Take a pill.
Buy a product
you don't need.
You have to work for real happiness.
Real happy doesn't come
in a pill,
or a product
or a chocolate bar.
Real happiness for me
comes in
music.
Strumming, plucking, pounding.
My hands feel the happy
running through me.
They know it's only temporary, but it's real.
Oh, so real.
