These Tears

A broken heart can only mourn
When voices come just shy of words;
Things must be said
Memories must be shared,
Yet they catch on the tongue
The shock of it all just too strong.
A life only starting, ends too soon
And so these tears are for you.

This is dedicated to a young life that was lost a month before his graduation. May he rest in peace.
