And here I stand-
Sword dulled, armor brittle,
as the beast raises its immense hand
and with a roar coats me in spittle.
My allies stand around me
Their breath strained by the fight,
The climax will arrive soon,
And it's now or good night!

The beast lies slain
Eyes sallow, chest still
I cast off my mail,
Plunge my sword into the dirt
Fall to my knees and

I wake up the next morning
With yet another gazing into my soul
When will the exam season end?
