Favorite Quote:
"science takes you to the moon. religion takes you into buildings."

It wasn’t mine, and it wasn’t hers
But we shared it, and that was something.
I couldn’t hide, and neither could she
We raised our fists, but it followed
We spoke up, but it never diminished
Colorless, universal
And easily spread

But the thing was
And it was, it so was
The worst part about it
Was, it.
Like he who must not be named
It could not be caged
We tried, her and me
And everybody
But you can’t keep down
What’s yours.

Like a bird, it could change
One day, this
Another day, the memory was superfluous
To the real problem which was,
And it so was.

I wouldn’t say it
And neither would he
Because that’s how it was made
Her, him, and
Me.
