Did you hear that sound?
It woke up the projects
Oh Lord, who went next?
Gun powder smell in the air
Bullets on the floor
There’s no comparing my city to yours
Poverty, Violence, Drugs and death
You have to be careful because
You might be NEXT
I see the body lying in the puddle of blood
Everybody around the block knows what happened to Cuz
He was trying to defend his block
But the Bloods came and made the hood ROCK!
Standing on those corners
Fighting for their borders
Rappin’ they set
While throwing up the West
But is it all worth it though
Putting your life on the line for something so worthless
