The warmth of your hug
Warms my heart
The aroma from your skin
Lingers in the air
The smile that glows
In the depth of night
Butterflies load my stomach
As I am in your presence
Sweat runs down my cheek
As you walk by
I say nothing
Nerves have got the best of me
Anxious for your consideration
Frightened of rejection
I let you stroll by
As I say nothing
I am invisible
But one day you shall be mine
