Left on the body,
Easy to create; easy to leave behind
Maybe painful at first, but
The numbness melts it away
On the heart forever engraved
Forever remembered
The closer the speaker
The deeper the cut
The love ones; to whom
You always give ammunition
Those are the ones to watch out for.
In this world of cruelty, the open hearted are weak.
Keep your heart closed
If,
It is strength
You seek
