Favorite Quote:
"It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

Your  voice  is  a  warm  cup
of  hot  chocolate
for  my  cold  and  blistered  heart
a  comforter,  a  duvet,  a  pillow,  a  blanket:
a  child  and  his  toy  cannot  be  torn  apart

Your  presence  in  my  routinal  life
is  somehow  effervescent
like  the  light  emitted  from  fireflies,
their  bottom-filled  source  of  energy:
just  like  you  and  me

The author's comments:
In this poem, I was very much inspired by my boyfriend's voice that put me sound asleep the first time we had a conversation on the phone. It was very relaxing, and this was during the winter, so then, did later inspire to write this poem.

I hope readers feel a sense of tranquility when they read this.
