With all my heart and soul I love Jesus Christ
See He's the type that when even in the darkness shows you the light
He loved me as a sinner even before I was forgiven
I pray and He listens and gives direction on how I'm living
He came down to earth...A Man on a mission
From the moment of His birth, He lived a life sinless
He said salvation is achieved through faith and not earned
He died so we wouldn't burn & promised that He'll return
He said He is The Son of Man but they wouldn't believe Him
They mocked him, teased him, whipped him, beat him
They killed him even though in their souls they really need him
..But this happened for a reason
The Prince of Peace set us free from sin's captivity
I never will admit defeat because He lives in me
I give praise to the Most High the whole time of my life span
Every time I fall He's the reason that I stand
I think of what He did and now I understand
The I Am that He Is Makes Me Who I am
