The Season
I was so close, but no cigar.
How could this have happened, I was supposed to make it far.
So now, I just keep working harder.
Knowing that someday it will pay off.
The key to bouncing back is to forget and move on.
That’s what makes the difference between an athlete and a superstar.
That’s how I know I will be a star.
I let my bad memories go and I fulfill them with new goals.
Those new goals are what drive me to do my best.
That’s what is going to get me a ring.
