In the time that you've left me i've learned something about the heart i never knew.
I always heard it beating but I didn't comprehend until now,
They can talk to you.
I've tried talking to mine asking it questions about family, friends
I 've asked full of hope what the meaning of life was, but, even though i know it can talk,
It will only respond to me about one thing.
There's one thing it praises with every word it beats out to me in it's sweet humming voice.
It wants to talk about you.
It wants to reminisce about the past and think of you, only of you.
It doesn't care that you think you have problems or shortcomings or that you think you aren't worth it.
It knows the truth, because it's spoken to your heart as well.
It knows that you're perfect.
