I lie in the dark, alone with my thoughts,
My face covered with tears.
I feel alone,
As though no one cares.
I sit alone,
Surrounded by my fears.
The air, thick with silent cries
Closes in, suffocating me.
I am alone.
With no one to save me
From myself
