Missed Chances

Reminiscing on missed opportunities
On chances that should have been taken
I can't help but think on what could have been
How this life could be different
Only if I had of placed that kiss on your soft pink lips
Would you have accepted it?
Would you have returned it?
Any outcome would have been fine
Anything would have been better
than this
Better than knowing that I never
took the chance
To gently lay one
soft
kiss
upon those beautiful lips
that are consistently reappearing in my mind
